We are looking to fill a Part-Time Program Associate Assistant position in our Fairbanks Office… An ideal candidate will be professional, experienced in the Health and Human Service fields, and great communication skills.  This position provides administrative support to the CDPCS program through DSP training, hiring and timesheet process. The Candidate will also lead the training program for PCA’s.

Essential Functions:

Administrative (60%)

Completes biweekly time sheet process, to include corrections, and communication with billing regarding corrective actions

Develops and delivers PCA staff training to include new hire orientation and ongoing training programs as set by COA regulations

Coordinates with CDPCS Program Associates to provide up to date PCA referral list

Schedule new hire orientations, background check/finger prints

UT Report completed bi weekly

Accuracy and efficiency when completing new hire paperwork and assuring that qualifications are up to date and compliant


Position Requirements:

At least two years of experience working in health/human service and non-profit field. Must be a self-starter and able to work independently but also collaboratively as a member of a team.  Must have the ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines, while effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously.  Must comply with multiple policies and procedure related to personnel, privacy, and confidential data, information, and issues. Candidate will need to be highly proficient in MS Office and database management. May be required to work in the community so must have reliable transportation.

Special Skills

  • Interest in working with a community-based social service agency serving people with disabilities.
  • Able to effectively communicate in person and in writing; must have excellent customer service skills
  • Must be proficient in MS office including database management and data entry skills.
  • Able to comply with agency and funders policies, procedures and confidentiality protocols.

May be required to work in the community so must have reliable transportation.

Salary $17.24-$21.21 DOE
