Access Alaska’s Mat-Su Office is seeking a candidate for our Full Time Receptionist/Intake & Referral position. The right candidate would demonstrate the ability to effectively manage incoming telephone calls and visitor traffic, initial Intake & referral screening, & assist with the quality assurance of Independent Living Consumer files.

 

High School Diploma

Three (3) years general office experience with one (1) year Front Desk Receptionist experience

Experience on multi-line phone system

Experience with creating files and maintaining them

Maintaining and procurement of office and kitchen supplies

Experience with Microsoft office Outlook, Word, and Excel

Experience operating basic office equipment

Experience operating a mail/postage machine

Ability to operate Video Conferencing equipment preferred

Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentially regulations

Ability to type 35 plus words per min

Ability to learn and preform the eligibility determination process and coordinate or complete

appropriate referrals as the Information and Referral person.

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form
